Southern Pines residents receive resident rates for programs, athletics and activities. See resident definition for details. No Southern Pines resident child will be denied participation due to financial hardship.
A nonresident membership allows all immediate family members residing in your home to pay resident rates for Recreation Department programs, athletics and activities for one year from date of purchase. If you do not live in or own property in the city limits of Southern Pines, you may purchase a nonresident membership for $60 (non-refundable). Non-resident memberships DO NOT APPLY TO RENTALS.
As a small thank you to Recreation & Parks volunteers who provide at least 20 hours of service on an annual basis, we offer $20 of free programming. For more information: 910-692-2463.
Summer Intern Program
Recreation and Parks offers a paid 12 week internship. This programs provides one college student each summer with a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of the Recreation and Parks program.
Town of Southern Pines is Alcohol and Tobacco Free
Tobacco and Nicotine ordinance prohibits the use of Tobacco and Nicotine Delivery Products in Town Parks, Greenways, and Outdoor Athletic Facilities. The use of Alcoholic beverages is also prohibited.
