On Sunday, March 8 at 2:30 pm the library presents another "Books Made into Movies" film.
Based on the novel by John le Carre, a Chechen Muslim illegally immigrates to Hamburg, where he gets caught in the international war on terror. Starring Phillip Seymour Hoffman and Rachel McAdams, this film is rated R.
On Sunday, February 8 at 2:30 pm, the library will screen the story of Jackie Robinson, from his signing with the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1945 to his historic 1947 rookie season when he broke the color barrier in Major League Baseball. Starring Chadwick Boseman, Harrison Ford, Andre Holland and Christopher Meloni, this film is rated PG-13.
On Sunday, January 25th at 2:30 pm, the library will show a film based on the book "The Hundred-Foot Journey" by Richard C. Morais. The Kadam family leaves India for France where they open a restaurant directly across the road from Madame Mallory's Michelin-starred eatery. Starring Helen Mirren, this film is rated PG.
