    The Friends of the Library are sponsoring the Sixth Annual "Peeps" Diorama Contest! Design a diorama with book characters represented by marshmallow chicks and rabbits.   2. Springfest / Tour de Moore / Youth Bike Races

    Enjoy handmade crafts, tasty concessions, Kids' Block of fun activities, youth bike races, and so much more! Springfest will be held in Downtown Southern Pines from 10 AM - 4 PM and is free and open to the public. Bring your bike, tricycle, big wheel, etc., for the annual Youth Bike Races for children 10 and under. Short sprint races will be held in front of the Sunrise Theatre on Broad Street. All biking participants must wear a bike helmet.

    A true musical phenomenon, Cats opened at London's New London Theatre in 1981 and ran for a record 21 years and on Broadway for 18 years. This enchanting musical features dance, singing and a collection of whimsical tunes for the delight of the young and old alike. Lunch (not included in the fee) will be at Ron's Barn and BBQ.
