May 30, 2020, Governor Cooper extended Executive Order 124 by issuance of Executive Order 142, suspending late fees and all water/sewer disconnections due to non-payment until July 29, 2020. We want to remind you to be aware that water/sewer utility bills are not being waived. The Governor’s order simply allows customers additional time to pay their bills without the account being disconnected or charged late fees. Bills incurred from March 31, 2020 to July 29, 2020 are eligible for a repayment plan that extends six months from July 29, 2020.
New bills after July 29, 2020 must be paid in full along with any payment plan payment amounts to avoid late fees and disconnection of services.
Contact Town of Southern Pines Utility Billing by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 910-692-2206 to request this Payment Plan Option if needed.
