We are excited for this year's National Pollinator Week - our first year as a recognized Bee City USA. Pollinators are responsible for nearly 50% of all plant species and 35% of worldwide food production. We're doing our part in Southern Pines with pollinator gardens at our Public Library, Reservoir Park, and our bee and butterfly friendly plantings at all of our parks, facilities and planters.

At HomeYou can do your part as well. Download the pamphlet Protecting Pollinators at Home for tips and ideas for helping bees and butterflies in your yard and around your home.
